Violin course of MBMMC

Violin

Easily one of the most soulful musical instruments, the Violin is one of the most commonly used modern string instruments today. Violin was first manufactured in the early 16th Century. However, the history of violin in India can be dated much further back. It is believed that the history of violin in India began in the early 17th Century when it was introduced by Baluswamy Dikshitar. Primarily violin was used as a supporting instrument for a vocalist but with time it started making its own independent mark as a lead instrument. The Indian violin is different from the western one in some respects like holding position, playing tune etc. Pertaining to the Indian form of the violin, the musicians sit on the floor cross-legged with the right foot out in front of them. This position is essential for playing well because of the nature of Indian music.

Learning violin in our institute is a lot of fun because of the friendly teaching staff in MBMMC. Since violin is an ionstrument that can be learnt from a very young age, it is recommended to learn violin with group classes rather than a mundane individual violin class. Since practical lessons are more interesting than theory classes, students will get the concept of playing violin from day one of their training. We provide our students Visharad degree in violin under the Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow.

We provide complete 8 years of Violin learning course to our students in two levels. Four courses are for preliminary level and other four are for Secondary level. With our complete well defined violin music course students learn the finer techniques of standard violin playing.  After completing every level the Visharad degree is conferred upon the student.
