Results of Munin Baruah Music College

The results for the final examinations for the year 2019-2020 held at Munin Baruah Memorial College under Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow have been declared recently.  The pass percentage this year is 100%. On this occasion, all the teachers and other members of the college have expressed their happiness and greetings.  Out of the 106 examinees that appeared for the exams, 16 from the vocals, 3 from table, 16 from Kathak, and 17 from Bharatnatyam have passed in 1st Division. One among them has achieved distinction as well.

Among the vocals, those who have attained “Sangeet Vishared” this year are Dikshita Neog, Priyankhi Bharadwaj, Parthiv Garg, Ashish Chaudhury, Aprama Phukan, Sadiya Almash Hussain, Shilpi Priya Saikia, Drishti Duarah, Tanisha Hazarika, Ipshita Bordoloi and Anjumani Bora. Among them, Dikshita Neoghave attained the highest number in the 1st Division category and have managed to win the “Munin Baruah Gold Medal”. On the other hand, Nishi Priya Saikia from the Madhyama section have attained the highest number in the 1st Division category and have won the Achyut Chandra Thakur Gold Medal” and Jitasmrita Dutta from the Prathama section won the “Pushpa Gogoi Buragohain Gold Medal” having attained the highest number in distinction.

Also, Niharika Debi from Visharad final year (Tabla) and Sushmita Bhagwati (Kathak 1st year), Monsoon Gogoi (Bharatnatyam 1st year ) have attained the highest numbers in 1st Division category.  The principal of the college Mrs. Sibani Baruah Phukan and the others members have expressed their heartfelt congratulations to everyone. She has also mentioned that depending on the situation of the country/state in the coming days, if there arrives a possibility of holding a cultural programme or the annual fest, then these gold medals will be distributed to the winners on that occasion.  Currently owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, where there is a strong need for maintaining social distancing, all the faculties of the college are trying their best to teach the students through online classes. During these times the faculties are expecting wholehearted support from the students as well as the guardians.
